Recycling Batteries

It’s the Law

Don't worry! We will do it for you. You can drop your used hearing aid batteries off at either our Livermore or Pleasanton office and we will insure proper disposal.

Californians cannot discard batteries in household waste.  This includes almost all household batteries, including hearing aid batteries.  Batteries may corrode and leak when thrown in the trash and can potentially contaminate groundwater.  So, not only is it the law, recycling batteries also makes sense from an environmental standpoint.  The complicated part is where do you take them and on what days?   We will do it for you. You can drop your hearing aid batteries off at either our Livermore or Pleasanton office and we will insure proper disposal.   If you live in Pleasanton, you can also drop your batteries off at the following locations:

City of Pleasanton Operations Service Center, 3333 Busch Road

Pleasanton City Hall Lobby, 200 Old Bernal Avenue

Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Boulevard

Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue

Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Station # 2, 6300 Stoneridge Mall
